Rabbit's Ingenious Invention
In a burrow village, cozy and deep, Lived Hoppy the Rabbit, with ideas that leap. She spied juicy carrots, high on a hill, But the burrow too low— oh, what a thrill! Friends hopped and shrugged, "Too high to reach, No ladder or lift— out of our league!" Hoppy twitched nose, eyes sparkling bright, "Ingenuity is magic— I'll invent tonight!"
Through the meadow she dashed, collecting with glee— Sticks straight and strong, vines twisty as can be. A pulley from twine, a basket from leaves, "With what I have here, my invention achieves!" Friends gathered 'round, whiskers all a-quiver, "That's silly and wobbly— it'll never deliver!" But Hoppy just grinned, paws busy and quick, "Clever fixes come from a creative trick."
She rigged up the contraption, a ladder on wheels, With vines for the hoist, and a basket for meals. Up she climbed once— creak, snap, and a tumble! The whole thing collapsed in a leafy old jumble. "Oof!" cried the friends, "We told you so true— Stick to hopping low, that's safer for you!" Hoppy dusted off fur, undaunted and spry, "First tries flop— but ingenuity won't die!"
Back to the meadow— she spotted a spring, From a bouncy old bush, what a marvelous thing! Wove in some reeds for the rungs extra tough, And feathers for balance— light as a puff. "Use what's around, twist it fresh and anew— Ingenious inventions start simple and true." The friends peeked curious, tails starting to wag, "Maybe this rabbit has more than a brag."
A gust whipped the hill, with a howl and a gust, The ladder swayed wild— oh, what if it bust? Hoppy held firm, adjusting on high, "Counterweight here— a stone from nearby!" It steadied at once, no wobble, no sway, The wind lost its fight— hip hip hooray! Friends hopped in awe, "You're a wizard of wood— That carrot's as good as yours, if you could!"
Up, up she ascended, paws light on the rungs, Basket a-swinging, with inventive young lungs. The carrots gleamed orange, so crisp and so sweet— She plucked them with joy, a bountiful feat! Down came the haul, in a pulley-soft drop, Enough for the village— the feasting won't stop. Friends cheered and whooped, "Your brain's a delight— Ingenuity wins every height!"
They feasted till sunset, carrots crunchy and fine, Hoppy shared secrets, "It's all in the mind! When stuck on a problem, big or quite small, Look 'round for a fix— invent through it all. Sticks, springs, and stones— they're tools in disguise, Ingenuity sparkles in everyone's eyes." The rabbits all nodded, inspired and full, "Next time we need high— we'll build something cool!"
From that day on, the village buzzed bright, With gadgets and gizmos from morning till night. Hoppy's ladder stood proud, a beacon so grand, Proving that clever paws rule the land. Ingenuity's fable, whispered on wind, Turns "can't reach it" to "watch how I win!" Invent with your heart, with whimsy and wit— The world is your workshop— now go make a hit!
Under the stars, with the moon's silver beam, Hoppy dreamed deep of her next clever scheme. More hills to climb, more carrots to claim— A rabbit ingenious, forever the same!
